Shelar and the Scavengers is a weekly audio fiction podcast that will be releasing in October 2025. Set in the aftermath of a devastating war between humans and an alien race known as the Roshid, it features a classic love story, space battles, pirates and of course some lovable but insane AIs. Did we mention its a loose retelling of Beauty and the Beast?

Nathan Comstock (Writer/Producer/Lumo)
Nathan is a writer, voice actor, and sound designer known for Solutions to Problems and Electromancy. They live in Boston with their wife and an ever-increasing collection of board games, model starships and stringed instruments.

E. Marie Davis (Shelar)
E. Marie Davis is a jack of many trades hoping to become a master of at least one. She spends most of her time being an engineer, but she also rock climbs, struggles to learn French, and crochets sweaters that are laughably big. She makes the occasional attempt at musical theater. You can hear more of her work in Breathing Space: A Sci-Fi Western Anthology, the Land Whale Murders, and more to come!

Grayson Teals (Zayne LaMarque)
Grayson Teals is a PNW local and loves being outdoors. He teaches high school science, and can often be found playing volleyball, dnd with friends, or reading comic books at the beach.

Angela Yih (Tara)
Angela started voice acting for audio dramas in 2021. Since then, she’s lent her voice to Storage Papers, How I Died, and more. They've also directed audio dramas like Residents of Proserpina Park, Feminist Fairytales, and Hubris: A 24 Hour Podcast. In her free time, Angela loves to sing, cosplay, and discuss anime.

Marnie Warner is a Chicago based theater and voice actor. You can hear her in podcasts across all genres, including The Way We Haunt Now (Parker), Mission Rejected (Fran Nelson), Morland P.I. (Bella Thorpe), H.G. Wells Has His Regrets (Emily Dickinson), Where the Stars Fell (Elsie Henley), and Two Flat Earthers Kidnap a Freemanson (Mrs. Clement). Darcy Thompson (Dead-Eye Cordero)
Darcy Thompson is a podcast writer and actor with a flair for the magical, hysterical, and unexpected. He wrote, directed, and starred in the scripted fantasy podcast, "Dragon's Rest". His farcical play, “Doughboys”, sold out its run at The Vino Theater, in New York. Darcy is thrilled to be a part of "Shelar and the Scavengers", finally able to live out his "campy evil pirate" dreams. Outside of the arts, Darcy can be found perfecting his carbonara recipe, watching old sitcoms, or practicing accents on the subway while people stare.

Rae Lundberg (Ally Redbones)
Rae Lundberg is a writer and voice actor from Kentucky. In addition to co-writing and acting for The Night Post, Rae is also the showrunner and sound designer. Their writing and sound design work can be heard in Nine to Midnight and KILL FM, and they have lent their voice to dozens of audio drama podcasts. A former English teacher, copy editor, and freelance journalist, Rae holds an MFA in Creative Writing and works in patent licensing for a university. They live in the SF Bay Area with their wife, three cats, and overflowing shelves of queer books.

Alex Gilmour (Rusty)
Alex Gilmour has been active in voice acting since 2007, contributing his talents to productions from various groups, including Broken Sea Audio Productions, Darker Projects, Dice Tower Theatre, Lone Wolf Audio Works, Misfits Audio, and Wandering Audio.
He currently serves as Head of Production at Wandering Audio and was a co-founder of the Audio Verse Awards in 2013, where he served on the organising committee for two years.

Aurora Meyer (Bolt)

Anna Stein (Jo Jo)
Anna Stein is an artist, writer, and audio drama enthusiast. She is the creator of the scifi horror podcast Before The Tone and co-creator of the weird scifi podcast A Somewhat Peculiar Frog. His writing can be found in Hubris (2.1, 4.1, 8.1), Someone Dies In This Elevator ("Ups And Downs"), Of The Sword ("The Sword Of Dead Things"), and 11th Hour Audio ("The Mystery And Tragedy Of The Renfield Four"). Her voice can be heard in Be Not Afraid, Hubris, Before The Whispers, Additional Postage Required, Breathing Space, Sinclair Wants Help, and a few things yet to be released. In his free time, Anna does a myriad of arts, often while listening to podcasts.
